How it works
An FDA-approved collagen stimulator called poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is injected into the targeted areas of the body to gradually replace and regrow lost collagen. Rather than simply adding volume, the Sculptra® treatment is effective for its ability to penetrate into the deep dermis and address the underlying causes of collagen loss, gradually rebuilding these very structures. It is also an excellent alternative to a traditional butt-lift by providing natural lift and volume to the glutes with a simple injectable instead of surgery.
What to expect
30 minutes before your treatment, topical numbing is applied to the treatment area. Our skilled medical provider then injects Sculptra® into the targeted dermal plane, which is then slowly and naturally absorbed into the body. Results will appear over time as the body’s own production of collagen is stimulated, and can last up to two years. On average, three injections over a period of a few months is needed for best results.
