How it works
At DermaCrush we use the newest technology for laser hair removal: the FDA approved LightSheer® QUATTRO™ by Lumenis. During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light deep below the surface of the skin, which is then absorbed by the melanin in the targeted follicles. This light energy is converted to heat, and damages the unwanted hair all the way down to its root. Because this damage happens below skin level, unlike depilatories, it is enough to inhibit or delay future hair growth which makes it a more permanent solution. Laser hair removal may be more cost-efficient in the long run compared to other treatments like electrolysis, as it requires fewer sessions to see faster results. Besides being a popular cosmetic procedure, this treatment has also proven very effective against hair-related skin irritants, such as ingrown hairs, razor bumps, hair associated with birthmarks.
What to expect
Fast results and minimal pain are often reported by clients who are treated with laser hair removal. The laser is precise enough so that surrounding tissue is not damaged which makes for an almost immediate recovery.
